I've been to a lot of mechanic shops in Cape Coral and this shop do not allow your vehicle to just sit inside their mechanic bay just rack up hours to charge the customer...this shop gets the job done and they do not waste the customer's time...I recommend this shop to everyone...

Poor man’s has to be, hands down, the most honest and dependable shop on the planet. They will forever be my go too from here on out for anything I need done on my car. You don’t find businesses like this one anymore. Especially not in the auto industry.

I have used their service prior for brakes and rotors. We were set in stone to always use them after their fast service and great pricing. The best part is that we trust them! I didn't get charged an arm and a leg for stuff I didn't need. Later on my Hyundai had issues with brake lights. He stopped what he was doing and went to my car immediately and tried to fix it right ther without asking for a Penny! I will be back to fix the problem Monday but this world needs more honest companies like poor man auto!!! Thank you from a mother of 6 kids!!!

This place is great very honest and reasonable prices had my car done at one hour. Were the Lincoln dealership one in my car for 4 to 5 days I have a 2015 Lincoln MKX and my car was overheating and needed the fans. They are so very nice there if I have to that’s where I will go for now on, everybody there is very very nice

These boys deserve more than 5 for being honest people for starts. My old buddy told me about them and to trust em. This about our 4th experience with Poor man's auto and every time they are Honest. Hell, one time they didn't charge for an easy fix. Rough around the edges but they are it. This is the place. 10/10 will hopefully not but probably be back again.

I have been going to poor Man's since 2010. My daughter for 28 years They have always been honest and fixed our 3 cars with no problems. Labor charge is not inflated like other places. I trust them completely. And would never go anywhere else.

As a current customer I can help. They replaced my 4.6L harmonic balancer. They installed the performance one that I provided (Getting more difficult around town). Please to be fair one needs to [get Poor Man's approval BEFORE one orders the part]. Remember, time in the Auto Specialist world is $ so make it a good time for them.🌞 Very good price, people, and low labor cost. They did a great job + runs much better + shifts better. Thank you. I need it service done on my Ford Escape when dealer price was 10 times more, he take my car and repair the issue for unbelievable affordable price and was very efficient and nice. I recommend him to all who are in budget and need service done ..

Great guys and great service. My 2014 Rogue was brought in with a loud noise and vibration from the front axel. They took care of the problem and now it runs like I just drove it off the showroom floor. Smooth and quite. Plus, they got me right in. I called Monday to make an appointment for today, Wednesday. Got to the shop at 9 and was out before 12 noon. They also replace my serpentine belt and back brake pads and rotors. Will for be our new family mechanic. SW Florida has an awesome garage for the general public.
